About OMVC
This Is How Our Story Began
Orange Male Voice Choir (OMVC) is based in Orange, NSW Australia. We have a proud 90-year history of bringing song to Orange, the Central West Region of New South Wales and beyond.
Formed in 1926, the Choir has performed on many stages in the course of its eventful life; at the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in 1932, with Sir Harry Secombe at the Sydney Opera House (1982), with Julie Anthony at Parliament House Canberra (2001) and in London’s Royal Albert Hall (2002). Whether singing in an historic Orange woolshed, in a community hall or in a grand concert hall internationally, we strive to deliver musical excellence, entertainment and passion with every performance.
The Choir has undertaken major overseas tours and performs regularly throughout regional New South Wales. It has been a significant force in the Male Choirs Association of Australia.
