Paul Jarman
Patron

Paul Jarman is an internationally renowned musician and composer and has performed in over 35 countries. He was a member of Australia’s world music band Sirocco

​

He has written well over one hundred works including some commissioned for major events and a multitude of choirs and performers. His work has featured in the opening of the London Olympics and at a Rugby World Cup and at the White House for President Barrack Obama.

​

In 2015, OMVC met Paul at a mens choral workshop and concert in Bunbury WA.  The following year he ran a similar workshop with us in Orange, preceding a concert to celebrate our 90th Anniversary. 

​

The Choir commissioned Paul to compose our signature song, Friendship in Song, the following year and, in 2019 and 2022, he arranged songs for the Choir to accompany Eric Bogle and his band in memorable concerts in Orange and Bathurst.

​

OMVC was honored when Paul accepted our invitation to become our Patron in 2022.

Mayor Tony Mileto 
Patron

Tony Mileto has lived in Orange for more than 45 years and has a long history of community service. A former police officer and an Orange City councillor since 2017, Tony was elected mayor in 2024.

In addition to his professional work, Tony is a strong supporter of local youth. As a mentor with the Police Community Youth Club in Orange he is dedicated to creating a strong support network for mental health and suicide prevention.

A keen advocate of the sporting community, Tony has served as president of the Orange & District Football Association for 14 years, and the Orange Ex-Services Soccer Club for almost 30 years.

Tony is also president of the Orange Ratepayers Association and has served on the board of Central West BizHQ
